I got into design because I wanted to simplify software and make it easier to use not only for me, but for others. I found myself at the time frustrated with how the billing software I used was designed. That led me on a path of pursuing my Masters in HCI and becoming a product designer.
When it comes to product design, a good solution starts with understanding and scoping the problem space. This is why I think research is so important to developing that understanding and is something I fit in to projects as often as I can.

I decided to get back to that this year and recently finished a portrait drawing class. Other activities I enjoy doing include trying new coffee shops and working out.
